Visiting the San Diego Zoo as a child was the first time I learned about conservation, and I was hooked.
Since then I have had the opportunity to volunteer at the San Diego Zoo, intern at the Audubon Zoo, work for the Ministry of Agriculture in Israel and earn my B.S. in Animal Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
My research interests include the genetic impacts of habitat fragmentation and connectivity of mammalian carnivores influenced by anthropogenic disturbances.
