Research 

I’m a conservation ecologist with a passion for using applied ecological research to answer practical management questions and improve wildlife conservation. My work focuses on bridging science and practice to support the sustainable, evidence-based stewardship of rangeland ecosystems. By combining field ecology, quantitative analysis, and close collaboration with diverse partners, I strive to translate scientific data into meaningful conservation action on working landscapes.
 
I completed my MS in Wildlife Biology at the University of Montana, where I studied the population dynamics of sagebrush-steppe songbirds, and earned my PhD in Rangeland Ecology from Oregon State University, investigating how livestock grazing and predators influence greater sage-grouse in Wyoming.
 
When I’m not doing research, you can usually find me spending time with my husband and dog, rock climbing, hiking, or tending to my ever-growing collection of houseplants.
